The NASA Family Assistance Fund

The NASA Family Assistance Fund was formed in cooperation with the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA).

This fund is the mechanism within the NASA community to provide financial support for fellow co-workers who die as the result of personal injuries suffered in the performance of their official duties. Contributions may be designated for all the Columbia families, or for a particular family or family member, and will be used for the primary goal of guaranteeing the education needs of the Columbia crew's children.Donations may be made in several ways:

FEEA uses a nonprofit service to process on-line credit card transactions. The name that will appear on your credit card statement is “GIVEDIRECT”, not “FEEA”. With the GiveDirect credit card processing service, no fees are taken on your Visa or Mastercard donation, and FEEA receives 100% of your gift. A low fee of 8.25% of is deducted from your American Express donation. To direct your donation to the “NASA Families Assistance Fund” please choose this option from the drop down menu under “Program Area”.

  • Telephone donations are accepted at 303-933-7580 or 800-338-0755 Mail donations are accepted by downloading and printing the Direct Donation coupon at the FEEA website, and mailing it with your donation to: FEEA NASA Fund, 8441 W. Bowles Avenue, Suite 200, Littleton, CO 80123-9501.
  • NASA employees may make contributions through payroll deductions.
